So I just did my first holiday craft show this weekend. It was a blast and a huge success. I can't wait to go back next year...until then, I'm looking for more to participate in :) I think I might be addicted...lol
Here's a quick pic of my booth....I found a small bookshelf that worked out perfectly for my bags and I used some old crates to add different levels. Love how it turned out, but who knows what ideas will come to me before the next show.

Mission Complete!!
This weekend was fantastic. We had great weather, I went to my first quilt show (details below) and I finished taking pictures and listing all my new products.
Here are a couple new products I listed...
You can see the rest of my new items in my shop.
Now for the quilt show. It was great to see some fantastic quilts from everything to the tiny to the absolutely huge. There were simple to very complex. I love quilting because there is so much variation available. There were three quilts there that were made with the same pattern, but looked so different because they had used different fabrics.
I came out of there with lots of ideas and of course some more fabric (like I need it, but will make very pretty quilts). I look forward to going to the next show and will definitely take some pictures.
Now for next weekend....finishing the patio extension. Fingers crossed for warm sunny weather.

Me Procrastinate???
...ok...maybe a little, but I'm also going to blame it on the weather.
It's been almost two weeks since the craft show and I promised to have new products listed within the week. So I will admit to some procrastination, but the weather has played a role as well. I wanted to do more pictures last night when I got home from work, but of course it was raining and then I got up early today and discovered that it was all gloomy outside still.
Needless to say, I didn't take any pictures today, but I do have most of it ready to go. Here's a little sneak peak :)
I was able to get some keychains/wristlets listed yesterday, but until the sun comes back I will continue with my new purse.....
Very excited to finish it and just in time for the summer....oh heck it's always the perfect time for a new purse...lol

Definitely An Experience
Well I can say I am no longer a virgin....a craft show virgin that is :)
Things went very well yesterday. It was a gorgeous day - sunny and warm with very few clouds in the sky. Got to the show a little early and started to set up. It took an hour; I couldn't believe it, but I did take basically everything I had as I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't able to get any pics as I just finished setting up as people started coming in and messing up my table...lol
Overall it was an ok day. It was a small show and everyone was saying it was a little slow as well. I did as well as I could expect - it wasn't a bust and I did make a few contacts to other vendors for some custom items.
This was definitely a good show to start with and I will be back for their Christmas show. Glad to have one under my belt now and can't wait for the next one.
So now comes the fun part of listing all the new items I made for the show that didn't sell. Stay tuned to my shop over the next week as there is a lot to come.
Hoping everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Exciting Week Ahead!!!!
I have to start off by saying...it is absolutely gorgeous outside. It's sunny, warm, a little windy, but gotta love the warmth this early in the season.
I am a bit of a nervous wreck right now. I have recently quit my job and gone back to my old job and I also have my first craft show this week....eeeekkkkk
It is only a 3 hour show for City Employees only, so it won't be that bad...it's a good one to start with. I am nervous as I don't know how it will go, if anything will sell or if I'll sell it all and have nothing left. Everything is done and packed up so I don't really have anything to do but wait, which is killing me.
Also my shop will be closed Thursday while I'm at the show, but will be back up and running once updated on Friday. There may be even some new items to post if they don't sell.
I will post about my experience as soon as I can and let you all know how it went. I may even have a picture or two of my table.
Wishing everyone a great week.

Where My Shop Name Came From
After being asked a few times in the last couple days "where do your get the name from?" I thought I would share.
The name was inspired by the two who make me smile every morning, make me laugh everyday and make me love them more and more with every breath. These two are my dogs, Dante and Kaiya. They are pure bred Shiba Inus.
Kaiya is 5.5 years old and she is the biggest sweetheart in the entire world. She loves people and chasing mice.
Dante is 6 years old and is one of the funniest dogs I have ever met. He is a huge suck, but at the same time wants to be by himself. He loves his toys and does not destroy them as others do, but lovingly plays and chews on them.
They are such a huge part of my life that I thought I would include them here with me, so that even when they are not with me, they are still around.
If you would like to know more about the shiba inu please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiba_Inu
I hope you enjoyed just a tidbit of my inspiration as I'm sure I will mention them again and again.
